Recognizing Business Excellence

In April 1997, the McCoy College of Business at Texas State was awarded accreditation by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This accreditation opened the door to Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the preeminent honor society for business programs accredited by AACSB International, and the Texas State BGS chapter was established in November 1997. Only those students who meet rigorous standards of academic achievement are inducted into the organization. We challenge every student in the McCoy College of Business to strive to meet these high standards and join us as members of BGS.
